"Dirty Black Summer" by Danzig. Heard of it? Hard rock & roll riffs, massive distortion and the original Misfit's lead singer Glen Danzig make this 90's black metal artist a minor threat to the world. Well, it was a dirty black summer at Mt. Hood as well - hot AF, volcanic ash wind blown snow and our entire Sessions MFG team daily destroying the glacier. Similar to Danzig going solo from the Misfit's, Sessions MFG relaunched this year after a hiatus. And I'll be damned (not literally), we proved a hot commodity: the team pleased the crowd, built a fan base of hellions and showed the world how very much alive we are.
What happened at High Cascade will stay at High Cascade, but just let it be know that Sessions happened at Hood. From OGs Scotty Vine and Jesse Paul to newcomers on the seen, like Phil Hansen, our presence was known and loud. But don't take our word for it, or hellacious metaphors to post-rock stars we love, check out the following six videos from HCSC that made Summer 2016 at Timberline a dirty black summer.
